The short version
If you fill in a form on this site, your details go to Jorn Ayan so he can reply to you and tell you about what you asked about. They are not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used for anything you did not ask for. You can have them deleted by sending one email.
Who is responsible
Jorn Ayan is the data controller for this site. Contact hello@jornayan.com.
What is collected, and why
- Name and email you type into a form — to answer you
- What you told us about your town, venue or dates — to plan
- Where you came from: the link clicked, the page landed on — to know which invitations reach people
The first two rest on steps taken at your request before a contract. The third rests on legitimate interest and is not used to profile you individually.
Newsletters are separate
Asking a question is not the same as subscribing. You are only added to a mailing list if you explicitly ask to be, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe that is honoured immediately and permanently.
Who else touches it
Cloudflare hosts this site and serves the pages. An email platform stores form submissions and sends updates; it is a processor acting on instruction, not an independent controller. Nothing is transferred to anyone else.
Cookies and measurement
This site sets no advertising cookies unless you agree to them. Anything that could identify you individually stays switched off until you say otherwise.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept while they are live, and for up to two years after the last contact. Mailing-list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to it being used at all. One email to hello@jornayan.com is enough. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
